I have been re-reading a book my daughter gave to me entitled Crows: Encounters with the Wise Guys by Candace Savage. It is very interesting and also has led me to a fascinating site with interesting observations of behaviors of individual crows and of murders (communities) of crows. These include crows blocking the road to stop a car while others pulled a wounded comrade out of the way, and crows taking a dislike to certain people, and spreading the news to other crows about this person’s perceived bad behavior towards them.
